Ms. Kavitha Nandakumar

Professional Journey:

As a Commerce graduate with a postgraduate degree in HR and Labour Law, Ms. Kavitha Nandakumar embarked on her professional journey as a Personal Secretary to high-ranking executives, including the GM, National Sales Manager, and Vice President. Later, transitioning to roles as a Sales Manager and Academic Coordinator showcased her versatility in both corporate and educational spheres.

Ms. Kavitha’s association with Chennais Amirta dates back to 2012, marking the beginning of a dedicated tenure. Starting as an Admin Officer, she has climbed the ranks through diligence and experience, earning her the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2015. The year 2022 brought new responsibilities as Ms. Kavitha Nandakumar assumed the positions of Chief Advisor for Placements and Admissions Head.

A significant milestone in her career was achieving a record-breaking placement of 3632 students in a single year, a testament to her leadership and the collaborative efforts of her team. This success led to the honour of being appointed as the CEO in 2023.

Professional Strengths:

Known for her strong planning and execution skills, Ms. Kavitha Nandakumar approaches challenges with a combination of smart work and hard work. As a team player, she maintains an eagle’s eye view over entire operations, ensuring a cohesive and efficient workflow. Innovative and solution-oriented decision-making is a cornerstone of her leadership style.

Academic and Early Achievements:

From school to college, Ms. Kavitha Nandakumar has consistently excelled, winning prizes in oratorical competitions, debates, drawing, poetry, and various other contests. Her competitive spirit and dedication to success has been evident from an early age.

Social Engagement:

Beyond the professional realm, Ms. Kavitha Nandakumar is actively involved in social initiatives. As a proud member of Inner Wheel, an international NGO operating in over 100 countries, she served as club President during a ground-breaking term. Under her leadership, the club initiated four new clubs and welcomed 100 new members, setting a record for the organization.
