The College

Bengaluru Amirta College of Arts and Science is run by the ‘Meenakshiamman Educational Trust’, which has followed the legacy to impart Academic Knowledge and inculcate value Education to its students. Inaugurated on 5th July 2018, Bengaluru Amirta college of Arts and Science is a Co-educational Arts and science institution approved by the Government of Karnataka with affiliation to the Bangalore University.

The college is affiliated to the Bangalore University with Choice Based Credit System and follows the semester pattern with mandatory extension activities, value education and soft skills. The Under Graduate programmes shall extend over six semesters with a duration of three years leading to Degrees awarded by the Bangalore University on successful completion of academic requirements and passing the University examinations prescribed for the course during the six semesters under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). Each semester shall consist of at least 16 weeks of study with a minimum of 90 working days.

For multifaceted development of students, curriculum emphasizes on wide variety of courses to enhance their knowledge in several core courses including those in languages and subjects in Arts, Science and Commerce, and value-based and skill development courses.

The Institute has a spacious independent campus situated in serene and picturesque surroundings, with an ideal environment for education. The Institute is well equipped and has a self sufficient campus with the impressive multistoried buildings paint the landscape with 9 spacious class rooms and 5 Practical laboratories.

The campus buildings are architecturally designed for optimal use of natural light and air.
